This Week's Lifestyle Properties and Open Homes

Happy New Year! I hope that the Christmas holiday and new year have treated you well.  The break never seems long enough but it does seem to bring people back to the new year with some renewed energy and excitement for what's to come.  Usually by about the 3rd/4th week in January we start to see patterns emerging and get a better picture of how the market is shaping up.  Property enquiry across the board has been great over the holiday break and is continuing well as we work through January.  We are still hovering around the 130-140 lifestyle listings currently in Hawke's Bay (Trade Me & Realestate.co aren’t always exactly aligned) so there are plenty to choose from (which can actually make your search more complicated!).

Bid Day Out - Property Brokers' annual Auction Event takes place on Friday 14th February this year and is promising to be even bigger and better than previous years. This is a perfect opportunity to bid up and buy to secure that ideal property under the hammer. Even if you are not lining up to bid, this is an excellent opportunity to come and see the Auction process in full swing!

December Sales Statistics - there were 27 lifestyle sales in December covering a diverse range of property. I'm pleased to say that our Property Brokers lifestyle and rural team were responsible for a predominant share of the December market, as well as the overall market for 2024.
