A week into March and of course, autumn! The somewhat cooler temperatures of the last couple of days have been a reminder that we have been treated to some gorgeous sunny summer days recently.

Buyer interest and activity remains strong and we have seen no signs of it slowing. Yet to be finalised, REINZ report 14 lifestyle and bare land sales for February and, notably, nine of these properties were on the market for less than 100 days. While there is a significant inventory available, including a good number of properties over 100 days on the market, the positive trend is that sales are occurring within more typical timelines. Active buyers are actively making decisions and securing properties. Yet the sales exceeding 100 days also highlight a broader narrative that includes new buyers also highlight a broader story which includes new buyers entering the market alongside vendors eager to move forward and willing to meet current market conditions.
