This Week's Lifestyle Properties and Open Homes

Spring has sprung and while the weather hasn’t necessarily been as glorious as we’d like, the market has done what we thought it would.  31 new lifestyle listings since the 1st of October means a much larger pool of properties to choose from.  The newer options are relatively well spread out in terms of location, price, land size etc too, so there is much to consider!  Whilst there hasn’t been a huge amount of bare land coming to market, anecdotal feedback suggests that buyers are still a bit cautious of the total costs (known and unknown) associated with building new.  The new listings coming to market also mean anyone thinking about building now will have more to consider as to whether or not they’re best to just buy a finished product.   Regardless, buyer activity has increased substantially which you have likely noticed yourself if you have been visiting a few open homes over the past few weeks.
